Sometimes you need to let go in order to grow

I’ve been reflecting a lot lately on the nature of growth & change in business. Recently, some incredible team members who have been with me since the early days of AdOutreach have moved on to new chapters & opportunities.

At first, it was hard to process. These were people who helped build AdOutreach from my college dorm room into an 8 figure business. When you work so closely with amazing people, seeing them leave feels like losing a piece of what made the business special.

But here’s what I’ve learned about letting go…

Sometimes the very things (or people) that got you to where you are today aren’t necessarily the ones that will get you to where you need to go tomorrow.

And sometimes those people have dreams & pursuits that require them to spread their wings & embark on a new journey.

And that’s okay.

In fact, it’s more than okay — it’s necessary for growth.

- When team members move on, it creates space for new perspectives & fresh energy

- Change forces you to revisit & improve your systems
New challenges lead to innovation & growth

- The departure of key people often reveals hidden strengths in others

- Sometimes people need to spread their wings to reach their full potential

As entrepreneurs, we often hold onto things too tightly — whether it’s team members, strategies that used to work, or ways of doing things that feel comfortable.

But just like a tree needs to shed its leaves to grow new ones, businesses need periods of letting go to reach new heights.

I’m incredibly grateful for every team member who has been part of the AdOutreach journey. Each one has contributed to where we are today. And while saying goodbye isn’t easy, I’ve learned to see these transitions not as endings, but as new beginnings — both for them and for us.

The truth is, every time we’ve had to adapt to change, we’ve emerged stronger. Every transition has led to innovation. Every goodbye has opened the door for new hellos.

That’s the thing about growth — it’s not always comfortable, but it’s always worth it.

To my fellow entrepreneurs — ask yourself: What have you had to let go of to grow?

Remember, sometimes the best chapters in your business story can only begin when you’re brave enough to turn the page. 💯
