Succeeding VS. Failing When Starting Your Business

My friend.

We’re going to play a game.

The rules are:

Think of any successful person you know…

Who HASN’T failed at something.


Elon Musk.


Couldn’t think of anyone who’s had 100% success, 100% of the time?

That’s because the game is rigged.

Because EVERYBODY has failed at something.

You, me, Gates… and everyone in between.

I was re-reading Robert Kiyosaki the other day and something he mentioned stuck with me:

The difference between whether you ultimately succeed or fail lies in your attitude. How you react to failure. What you choose to do after you’ve failed. Which direction you take once you reach that line in the sand.

Losers stop dead in their tracks.

They run away.

But winners?

Winners get inspired by failure.

They’ll walk that line all day… because they know the truth:

Failure is where you learn.

It teaches us what NOT to do.

What doesn’t work.

What needs fixing.

What needs changing.

So that, bit by bit, we learn what success looks like.

I call it an “always-win” mindset.

And everyone inside of AdOutreach has it.

Every time we run ads — even if the ads don’t turn out great the first time — we see it as a “win.”

Because it means we learned something.

Maybe THIS audience doesn’t react to THAT ad.

So we change the hook, or the story, or whatever we think was the reason it failed…

And keep going.

That gets us a little closer to success.

And I think anyone still getting frustrated with ads would benefit if they just realize that sometimes, ads are big fat losers.


By learning what worked and what didn’t, we come out as winners.
