When you run an advertising test, you either succeed by reaching your target audience OR you gain ‘Ad Intelligence’ which will help you succeed in the future.
You need to “miss the mark” a few times in order to see what does & doesn’t work to get those winning ads.
Remember the target board & darts?
Here’s a quick refresher…
The target is your market. And the darts are your ads.
If you throw just one dart at the board, you don’t know where it’s going to land…
You need to cast a wide net, throwing a bunch of darts, your ads, in order to figure out exactly how to hit that bullseye.
And once you know how to hit the bullseye, you’ll know how to produce winning results every time you throw. I call that your ‘Ad Intelligence’.
You want to know why most people who try YouTube advertising fail?
They just throw one, gigantic, oversized dart. And 9 times out of 10 it doesn’t produce the results they want and that’s it. They’re done.
