Why People Need to Take Action NOW (and commit to it)
When was the last time you responded to an opportunity with “Let me think about it”?
I know for me, some of my biggest regrets, but also my biggest successes started with that line one tells themselves in their head, “I’ll just think about it…”
The difference between success & regret? Whether I overcame my reservations & took action, or allowed myself to pretend “I’ll just think about it” was anything more than a “no.”
When business owners make this crucial mistake, it’s called Analysis Paralysis.
Not only is Analysis Paralysis real, but it kills businesses before they can even start.
Those who take action & commit are the frontrunners of their industry.
There is a common misconception about “pressure” to make a decision right now.
Truthfully, when someone is encouraging you to take action rather than delay, they are actually helping you succeed.
The decision could be “no” or it could be “yes”… Either way, you are forced to move forward.
Honestly, when was the last time you said “I’ll think about it” and actually thought about it afterward? We all know “I’ll think about it” is code for “I’m putting this off.”
Analysis Paralysis is insidious. It disguises itself as methodical and calculated. It lures you into thinking you need something else — more time, more money, more information — to take the next step toward success.
In reality, you have everything you need to make a choice right now.
The door is right there in front of you, waiting for you to unlock its potential.
Will you open it? Or will you let Analysis Paralysis get the best of you?
I’m not saying that this door won’t be there in the future…
…It’s just that those who overanalyze the door to success are the ones least likely to open it.
